nokia denied bb connectivity, not exchange sync. i use google's exchange sync feature to sync my mail, calendar, contacts on to my nokia and windows mobile phones. if i setup my gmail account via nokia messaging portal, i get only gmail, not contacts and calendar.
what happens if a bb corporate mail user setup his mail in a nokia phone via nokia messaging? wont he get his mail? how will this differ from using a regular bb handset?
---- i never used a bb nor i know anything about bb server is it deployed over and above exchange server? exchange server looks after mails, calendar, contacts, collaboration, etc what is a bb.server? what is its function? is it an alternative to ms exchange? or its function is only to deliver emails to bb devices? if yes, it is redundant. who cares to use it then? exchange itself can take care of mail delivery to devices with activesync. right?
pls drop few lines -rajesh
