When I boot to Ubuntu 9.1 I get following message
Quote:
"Ubuntu is running in low graphic mode
The following error was encountered. You may need to update your configuration to solve this.

(EE):intel(0):No modes
(EE)Screen(s) found,but none have a usable configuration."

Whe I hit ok,
I get another message.

Quote:
"What would you like to do?
O Run Ubuntu in low graphic mode for just one session.
O Reconfigre graphics
O Troubleshoot the error
O Exit to console login

Cancel ok

I am facing this problem for last four months. But I used to solve by adjusting the brightness of grub menu by moving CPU or tightening the loose connection. It used to get solved. But since last month it is not happening.
I have Intel 82945G integrated graphic card.Driver is "intel".But now it works only with "vesa" driver with low graphics mode.
I cannot start Compiz.
This is applicable to all installed OS on my PC.
Fedora8,Mandriva2007,Mandriva2010.I could not see the driver in my recently installed Ubuntu 10.04 and Fedora 13,as they do not have xorg.conf file.
