I hope this post will not be deleted because of vulgar name of proxy.
Why would you want to hide your IP address, when doing Internet banking.. unless, you are transferring money fraudulently or hacking into someone's account? On the contrary, never "ever" use a proxy, when you are working with sensitive data like Internet banking.
Internet banking is safe as long as you "don't" use in-secure (read your own controlled) proxies, non SSL connections, or surf from a cyber-cafe or an unknown PC. If you use your PC, make sure you don't have viruses, trojans or keyloggers that are logging your passwords. For the same reason, whenever you connect to an Internet banking site, look for the "lock" icon on the browser, which indicates you are on a secure connection and try to use the virtual keyboard to type your password instead of typing it in and while you are at it remember to keep a not easily guess-able password and change your passwords often.
